The purpose or purposes for which the corporation is organized is exclusively for charitable, religious, educational and scientific purposes, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501 ( c ) ( 3 ) of the internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code..
Ways you as a Rotarian or non-Rotarian may contribute to the Northwest Rotary Foundation :
1. Individual Contributions - If you contribute to the Foundation, you'll get a receipt as the Foundation is a 501 ( c ) ( 3) corp.
2. You may remember the Foundation in your will. If you want to do so please contact one of the Officers of the Board concerning what is necessary.
3. Scholarships may be established either in your name or someone else. You may even just donate with no name.

The Directors and Officers take office each 7/1 to coincide with the Rotary year. The Board is made up of the past 5 Northwest Rotary Club Presidents plus the current President and President-Elect.
