How Northwest Rotary Serves San Antonio
Service is at the heart of everything we do at Northwest Rotary. From local neighborhood cleanups to international giving, our members are constantly finding new ways to make a positive impact. Here's a look at some of the ways we serve our community.
Annual Scholarship Awards
Each year, the NW Rotary Charitable Fund, Inc. awards scholarships to deserving high school and college students. Our scholarship program has helped countless young people in the San Antonio area pursue their educational goals.
Military Highway Cleanup
Members regularly volunteer to clean up Military Highway, helping keep San Antonio beautiful and demonstrating our commitment to the neighborhoods we call home.
Elf Louise Project
Every holiday season, Northwest Rotary members volunteer with the Elf Louise Project, one of San Antonio's most beloved Christmas gift programs, ensuring children in need wake up to presents on Christmas morning.
Habitat for Humanity
Our members roll up their sleeves and get to work alongside Habitat for Humanity, helping build affordable homes for families in our community.
St. Vincent de Paul's Bistro
Club members regularly volunteer to serve meals at St. Vinny's Bistro, providing nourishment and dignity to those experiencing hardship in San Antonio.
Supporting Local and International Charities
Through annual grants, our club funds a wide range of charities including the Salvation Army, San Antonio Food Bank, First Baptist Church Food Pantry, S.A.M. Ministries, and Any Baby Can. Individual Rotarians also contribute to Rotary International through the Paul Harris Fellowship, supporting global efforts to eliminate polio and promote peace.
